Kindnessis not free. It does have a price. Are you willing to pay for it is the question?

Gentleness is not without debt. It too has a value. Is it worth it to you?

The evidence of humility is kindness and gentleness towards others. They both cost us our pride. These attributes are easy to apply when our neighbors and friends are kind and gentle too. Those are our bonus experiences. But more often than not, you will need to apply these as gifts to others who are difficult or contentious.

When we can feel past our emotions to respond to others, we embody the restoration promised in our faith. We act as willing vessels for God. Tools of agency in a divine plan.

It’s easy to put ourselves before others. It comes naturally in most of us. It is through growing pains that we are shaped into unique spokespersons for His healing power. To be effective, we must first be willing to endure the renewing of our own minds. This is a reasonable sacrifice for the honor to serve and help others.

My prayer is that every reader this morning is increased in spirit and truth. In Jesus name. Amen.
